WOW well done Zephyr...especially finding a hexagon at home. !!thats awesome. You said the best thing to find was the circle...What was the easiest thing to find? Chris
I bet it was hard to find the hexagon Zephyr. Where did you actually find it in the end? It looks a bit like a toy from a game - is it? How long did it take you to complete the hunt? Did you have a list of items on your scavenger hunt to find? Maybe you could think of a scavenger hunt for others to hunt out and find. I am sure if I went for a bit of a hunt around my house I would find lots of things I haven't been able to find in a long time. Mrs Phelps
Well done in finding things around your home for the shape scavenger hunt especially the hexagon that one is tricky. Next time you are on your bike look at the wheels and see if you can find a hexagon there. Keep up the great work.
Kia ora Zephyr, It was so cool how you got to do a scavenger hunt! Scavenger hunts are activities that I thoroughly enjoyed when I was younger, specifically when I had other people to do them with! I would run around looking for all of the items on my list, and have so much fun trying to be as creative with my answers as possible. I also really used to enjoy the ‘I Spy’ books. Every single night I would do a couple of pages, hunting for the hidden treasures and trying to see what new items I could find. Have you ever read the ‘I Spy’ books? It is great to see you reflecting on the activity when you mentioned both the best and worst things to find. I can imagine how hard it must have been to find the six-sided object, especially when there are not many hexagon-shaped objects around. In total, how many hexagons did you find? How many different shapes did you find? What was this scavenger hunt for? It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know! Keep blogging! Nga mihi
